Sir,
Supreme Court Building,
28th October 1880
I have the honour to forward a letter (enclosed) which I received yesterday from Mr. Justice Snowden in which he states that the deadlock between the Judges and Mr. Gibbons still exists. He details the unprecedented step the Judges having decided that business must be done in Chambers, and that Mr. Gibbons persisted.
The Honourable F. Stewart, Acting Colonial Secretary.
